A Family-Run Business For Over 20 Years

From humble beginnings.....

The Direct Supplies family started in 1978 when a woman named Maureen had a dream.

Starting with a small shop based in Skewen offering spare parts and repairs to domestic appliances, employing just 2 part time engineers. Growing into a family business when her daughter Debbie joined the company 10 years on.

When Debbie married Ian a few years later they took over the company and joined in partnership with Enterprise 2000, in 2019 their daughter Alex joined the business. In January 2018, Debbie and Ian bought Enterprise 2000, keeping the recognisable name and expanding the Direct Supplies family even further.

Enterprise 2000 is one of South Wales’s largest independent appliance showroom, with a huge range of appliances – cooking, cooling/freezing, washing, it’s all covered. And a 2 man transit team, that can deliver to areas such as Swansea, Neath, Port Talbot, Lanelli etc., Enterprise 2000 also offer delivery and installation of almost all their appliances.

Direct Supplies moved to Swansea to be under the same roof as Enterprise 2000, and has now turned into a 3 generation family owned business employing 11 staff covering a 25 mile radius of South Wales with Swansea at the heart.

Our company was built on solid foundations providing a reliable service with honest advice and high quality workmanship, but no matter how our business grows in the future we will never lose sight of our roots – aspiring to excellence and serving people in our local communities.
